Need help? We Care About Your Mental Health

Students may face a range of issues that can cause barriers to learning — strained relationships, increased anxiety, alcohol/drug problems, feeling down, difficulty concentrating and/or lack of motivation. Such difficulties and stress may lead to diminished academic performance and limit your ability to participate in daily activities. The Ohio State University offers services to assist you with such concerns.

If you or someone you know are suffering from any of these conditions, you can get help from confidential mental health services right on campus. Here is a list:

The Office of Student Life’s Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS) ccs.osu.edu Tel: 614-292-5766. CCS is located on the 4th Floor of the Younkin Success Center and the 10th Floor of Lincoln Tower. A counselor is on call when CCS is closed at 614-292-5766.

24 hour emergency help is available through the 24/7 National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 800-273-TALK or at suicidepreventionlifeline.org
